Your Credit Report Do you know what is in your credit report? Who last asked for a copy? Is the information that it is reporting correct? Is that your Social Security Number or someone else's? What will you do about it? Every American has a right to see what is in his or her credit report. Your credit report tells almost everything about you and your life style. They report not only on your spending habits, but your employment, your address, social security information, court records etc. Almost every report contains some incorrect information and there is more than one reporting agency giving your information out! And any derogatory information may prevent you from purchasing the new house or car etc. When you get that report, will you understand it? Will you know what to do? By all rights the consumer has every right to repair their own report. But this can become time consuming as well as frustrating. By having a Credit Repair Service company such as Concise assist you, we take the confusion, the frustration, and above all, the time to bring the matter to the best possible solution. The consumer is responsible for the information being reported in their credit reports. The Supreme Court ruling in 2001 states legal claims must be filed within two years after the mistake occurred, even if the victim does not learn of the error in that time. Though the Court states that it is the individual’s responsibility, the process to identify mistakes, fraud or inaccurate information on the reports is a time consuming and manual task. It may be a task so overwhelming that they may not understand their credit report and know what steps to take to correct the problem. Concise operates by all Federal and State laws.
